Programmes and learning

Capability,
not dependency.

Uplift is one of the four words behind P.A.U.L. Programmes exist so that people can eventually do the work themselves.

Current status

Programmes are in preparation.

Nothing is scheduled for enrolment yet. This page describes what is being built and the safeguarding rules it will operate under, so that schools and organisations can judge it before it opens rather than afterwards.

Schools, departments and organisations interested in early participation can write to hello@paulresearch.online.

What is being prepared.

01

Practical workshops

Short, focused sessions on defensible method: study design, spatial data handling, remote-sensing interpretation, and presenting evidence honestly.

02

Mentorship

Structured guidance for students and early-career researchers, with declared boundaries. A mentor explains and challenges; a mentor does not complete assessed work.

03

Open resources

Reference material, worked examples and reading shared through the knowledge exchange, where members post materials, review papers and discuss what they have read.

04

Organisation programmes

Verified schools and organisations running their own programmes through P.A.U.L, with an authorised adult representative accountable for each one.

Safeguarding

Rules that apply from the first day.

01

Direct engagement is 18+

Direct specialist-to-individual interaction is limited to adults at launch. This is a deliberate constraint, not an oversight.

02

Minors through representatives

Organisations serving younger participants operate through verified adult representatives — teachers, schools or guardians — who remain accountable for the participants in their care.

03

No unrestricted private messaging

Unmoderated private adult-to-minor messaging is not permitted, and will not be enabled without a separate safeguarding system built for it.

04

Stated before enrolment

Every programme will publish eligibility, age group, format, schedule, cost and safeguarding arrangements before anyone registers.
